Who is John Crestani?
John Crestani is an internet marketing millionaire. He is the owner of an online business named Nutryst, a company that markets a line of homeopathic products from select providers using affiliate marketing. He has eliminated the “look and leave” set of people who may be curious but not motivated from his business by only accepting affiliates who are enrolled in his Internet Jetset course or have a personal referral. He also markets the Internet Jetset course and promotes an ebook titled “The affiliate marketing blueprint.”
I first heard about John Crestani on Clickbank, where he was the subject of a video interview by that platform. Clickbank is also the platform that he uses to market his products. He was also the subject of an article in Forbes online, written by Logan Kugler, titled “How a 28-Year-Old Got Fired Then Built A $500K-A-Month Business While Traveling The World.” The Forbes article can be found here.
What is the Internet Jetset Course about?
I found the course online initially by typing “John Crestani review” in the Google search box. The top listing was titled “Affiliate Marketing made easy for $47.” I clicked on that link and it took me to a web page with that title, and the ebook “The Affiliate Marketing Blueprint.” I clicked on the “Learn More” button and the page expanded a little to show links to several articles and the ebook. I clicked on the ebook link, and was told that an email was sent to me where I should verify that I really wanted the book, then I would be able to download the book.
I checked my email but found no verification email.
Anyway, here is what I was able to learn about the Internet Jetset course. In the interest of fairness, I have not signed up for the course and what I know about it I learned from the John Crestani website.
The course consists of 12 hours of video training broken down into six sections:
- Developing the Entrepreneur mindset
- Choosing your niche and offers
- Generating free traffic
- Developing effective copywriting
- Internet JetsetLIVE webinars
- Rich Jerk 2.0 training
In the section on “Developing the Entrepreneur Mindset, the cours says it will teach you “…how to navigate the affiliate marketing landscape, and avoid possible landmines.” It also talks about earning your first commission and explains how to join affiliate programs.
In the “Choosing your own Niche and Offers” section John Cristani says he will “identify 7 high commission networks that will pay more to the affiliate (you) than the product owners.”
In “Generatiing Free Traffic” the course covers Youtube, Google, and Facebook as free traffic sources, and explains how to use them.
If you want to learn more details about what each section offers, visit the website listed above.
The website doesn’t mention that the $47 cost is a monthly payment until in the FAQs. The course is advertised as a $47 course valued at $2000. The FAQs also say that if you cancel your $47 monthly payment anytime after the first month you still get to keep the entire 12 hour course, but will no longer have access to the JetsetLIVE webinars.
Are there any upsells?
Yes, there is one upsell, and it is covered in the FAQ section as well. The upsell is called the “Xtreme Case Study Archive,” which costs a one-time payment of $187. This archive includes 10 videos from “expert Super Affiliate Marketers who have each made over 1 million dollars” in affiliate marketing. That piques my interest.
Is it a scam?
The short answer is NO.
While I did not purchase the course, I believe it to be a legitimate business offer. I watched two John Crestani videos, and the first was a marketing video trying to get you to sign up for the course, and the second was either Video 1 or a preview of video 1. The video was of John Crestani in front of a white board explaining what affiliate marketing was and how it worked. He used examples such as Hotels.com, and Uber as affiliate companies that connected the user with the product for a fee. His training in this video was clear and made sense, although it was nearly impossible to read the white board.
Again, not having signed up for the 12-hour course, I still believe it is a legitimate business opportunity and I think you will get your money’s worth and beyond. I do think that those who sign up will receive quality training, and the chance to join Crestani’s affiliate marketing business, Nutryst. From my experience, though, I don’t think that 12 hours of training is enough for the changing and expanding world of internet affiliate marketing.
Is it the best training program available? The results seem to be positive, but in my opinion the most comprehensive training available for affiliate marketing is still Wealthy Affiliate. I made my choice a couple of months ago and have not regretted my decision one bit.
Check out John Crestani’s website, then take a look at Wealthy Affiliate. If you are interested in affiliate marketing and in having your own online business that will generate passive income for you, my recommendation is Wealthy Affiliate.
