Are You An Affiliate Marketer?

And if you are, have you found any good affiliate programs that pay top commissions when you make a sale?  Are you still looking?

One of the common questions that I get asked a lot is:  Where do I find good affiliate programs that I can sign up for?  This is especially important for beginners, or “newbies” as they are called, because many companies with affiliate programs will reject an affiliate application from someone just starting out.  They want to see a significant amount of traffic to the affiliate marketer’s website before approving them.

That makes it difficult for some to break in.  In fact, I’ve been rejected before myself, and it’s frustrating.  It’s like a “catch-22,” you want to establish yourself as a successful affiliate marketer, so you need to be signed up with affiliate programs, but a lot of companies don’t want you in their affiliate program until you already have a track record of success.

Another issue is that some companies that do let you sign up for their affiliate program don’t pay very much per sale.  Of course it depends on the price of the product, but it’s a fact that some companies pay 5-10% while others pay 40-50% commissions.  Which one would you like to associate with?

You don’t need dozens of affiliate programs to be successful.  Here are 2 that will pay well and have no problem letting you sign up.

#1.  Wealthy Affiliate

What is Wealthy Affiliate?  It’s the #1 affiliate marketing and online business training platform on the internet today.  In my opinion, it’s absolutely the best.  Wealthy Affiliate is in the business of training online millionaires by teaching the knowledge and techniques neccessary for making real money online.

Wealthy Affiliate also has one of the most lucrative affiliate programs on the internet.  Here’s their breakdown:

As you can see, Wealthy Affiliate pays $23.50 to each affiliate that signs up a referral that enters premium training at the monthly rate of $49.00 per month.  That’s a payment for every month that person remains at the premium level.

If a referral signs up at the yearly rate of $359/year, the affiliate earns $175 per year.  That payment is made every year that the member pays yearly. To earn the above commissions, the affiliate must be a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate too.

We’re looking at a 49% commission rate here, guys.

If you are a free starter member, you can still earn commissions as an affiliate, but the payment rate is half that of a premium member.  A free member earns $11.75 monthly and $87.50 yearly, which is still very good commissions.

You can see that as you build your referral list, you can earn a significant income by promoting Wealthy Affiliate.

I’m a member of the Wealthy Affiliate affiliate program myself, for the above reasons.  Obvious reasons, don’t you think?

If you’d like to sign up with Wealthy Affiliate and begin promoting the website, Click on the sign up button below.  Everyone initially signs up for free, so there’s no reason to worry about cost.  Sign up today!

#2.  Salehoo

Perhaps you haven’t heard of Salehoo.  It’s a website promoting a list of overt 8,000 vetted and approved drop shippers, wholesalers, direct-manufacturers, and product liquidators compiled for those of us selling products on eBay or on an ecommerce site.  These businesses are willing to work with eBay sellers and offer quality products at low rates.

I reviewed it a couple of weeks ago.

If you like selling on eBay, and want to grow your business into a legitimate moneymaker, then it makes sense to sign up with Salehoo.  You can find items to sell from your storage unit or at garage and yard sales, but that only takes you so far.

Eventually you will need to find a source of products that will let you grow your selling business.

That’s where Salehoo comes in.  Salehoo has been around since 2005 and has over 137,000 clients using the service.

Salehoo membership costs $67 per year, and allows anyone willing to market the service to sign up as an affiliate.  The program is managed through Clickbank.  The commission rate for affiates is 50%, minus Clickbank fees.  That means for every $67 member that signs up with your affiliate link, your commission is $30.49.

That Comes Out To About A 46% Commission.

An added plus is that Salehoo has a 53% renewal rate, and each year one of your referrals renews, you receive that $30.49 commission again.

Sound interesting?  You can sign up for the Salehoo affiliate program here.  Click on the “Join now” button and scroll down to the bottom of the page to the blue panel.  Find “Affiliate Program” and click on the link to sign up.  I joined myself.

Well, there you have it.  Two of the best paying affiliate programs I’ve found on the internet, and you can sign up for either one, or both, for FREE.  (I recommend both).

So what are you waiting for?  Get started earning your commissions NOW!

DISCLOSURE:  The FTC requires that as an affiliate marketer I inform you that if you click on an affiliate link and end up buying a product, I will earn a commission.  Well, Duh!  That’s what affiliate marketing is all about.

Thanks for reading my post.  I’d appreciate any comment you’d like to make, and even more, I’d appreciate your looking into the two programs I just wrote about.  Have a great one!
